Household lighting

Household decision-makers were asked about the lighting in their homes. Lighting types include compact fluorescent light globes, halogen downlights, fluorescent tubes and incandescent globes.

Use of compact fluorescent light globes (CFLs) has increased in households, from 62% in 2008 to 66% in 2009.
