Food-related behaviours
Respondents were asked how often they had engaged in various food-related behaviours for environmental reasons in the last 12 months.
The behaviours included purchasing locally grown fruit or vegetables, growing fruit and vegetables and reducing red-meat consumption. Compared to 2008, increases were evident in all three behaviours, a finding consistent with the recent community trend towards ‘home grown and made’.
